Transformation Lab ("we", "our", or "the app") is a health and fitness tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Health and Fitness Data: Weight, sleep hours and quality, workout details, nutrition/macro data, step counts, water intake, energy levels, stress levels, and progress photos you voluntarily enter or sync.
• Integration Data: When you connect third-party services (Apple Health, Hevy, MyFitnessPal, Oura, WHOOP, Strava, Garmin, etc.), we read health data they provide including heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep stages, readiness/recovery scores, and workout data.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise your fitness tracking experience
• To sync data between connected health and fitness apps
• To calculate progress metrics, streaks, and weekly scores
• To store your data securely via Firebase for cross-device access
• To optionally sync your data to Google Sheets for your personal records

3. Data Storage and Security

• Account data is stored securely using Google Firebase with encryption in transit and at rest.
• API keys for third-party integrations are stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and are never transmitted to our servers.
• Health data synced from Apple Health remains on your device and is only shared with services you explicitly connect.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services, data flows directly between your device and those services. We act as a reader of data you authorise. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy:

• Apple Health - governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
• Hevy, MyFitnessPal, Strava, Garmin, Oura, WHOOP - governed by their respective privacy policies

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which will permanently remove all associated data from our servers.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data (available in-app and via CSV export)
• Correct inaccurate data (editable in-app)
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Disconnect third-party integrations at any time
• Opt out of notifications

7. Children's Privacy

Transformation Lab is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications.
